Tev Stock - Stocktake Scanning

An amendment to the TevStock - Stocktaking process to allow items to be scanned without entering a quantity but instead the system totaling up the count against that product based on the volume of items scanned.

Current Process

After a products barcode has been scanned whilst entering a Stocktake on TevStock, a box appears whereby you enter the quantity of that item that you have within that specific Stock Location. Once a quantity has been entered, you need to select 'Add' to add the quantity entered against the product.

Requested Process

Upon scanning an item, 1 x Unit would be added against that product within the Stocktake. There shouldn't be any pop-ups, just a notification the item has scanned correctly (App could beep or go green) and the staff member can move onto the next item. This would significantly speed up the Stocktaking process for them.

Should the same product be scanned multiple times, the app would just keep adding 1 x Unit to the items count (This feature already exists - 'Enable Stocktake Count Additions').
