The current "Sales by User" report only attributes sales to cashiers (e.g., IRENE) who finalize transactions, making it impossible to track individual server/waiter performance. From the transaction data, we can see servers like ESTHER, COLLINS MADIBA, JACINTA, PETER, and LYDIA are taking orders, but their contributions aren't measurable in the existing reports.
A new "Sales by Server" or "Sales by User Group" report that tracks sales performance by the staff member who actually served the customer and entered the order, not just who processed the payment.
Quantity sold per server (number of items)
Gross sales value per server (before discounts)
Net sales value per server (after discounts)
Category breakdown (Food vs. Beverage sales per server)
Time period filtering (daily, weekly, monthly)
Enables performance-based incentives and commission calculations
Identifies top-performing servers for recognition/training
Helps with staff scheduling based on sales productivity
Provides accountability for order accuracy and upselling
The system already captures the server name in transaction line items (as shown in the data), so this appears to be primarily a reporting enhancement rather than a data collection change.
