Automated End-of-Day Sales Reporting

It would be great to have the ability to schedule and automate the delivery of a daily sales report at the end of each trading day. This would allow management teams to automatically receive a summary of that day's sales figures at a set time, supporting end-of-day processes and complementing any operational close-down reporting already in place.

Currently, the Report Automation feature includes a "Time To Run From" field, however this controls the sales data cut-off point rather than the time the report is delivered. Greater control over the output delivery timing would make this a much more powerful and practical tool for busy operational teams.

    We can see the value in what you're describing. Having automated sales reporting that aligns with your end-of-day processes — and sits alongside the Daily Ops Report your managers submit before close — would make for a much more streamlined close-down workflow. We also appreciate you highlighting how the current Report Automation functionality works; you're right that the "Time To Run From" field controls the sales data cut-off rather than the delivery timing of the output itself, and we understand that having greater control over when reports are actually sent would make this far more practical for operational use.

    We're pleased to let you know that we'll be moving this idea into future consideration for Reporting. Whilst we aren't able to confirm a timeline at this stage, it's been picked up by our product team as something we'd like to explore as a future enhancement to our reporting capabilities.
