Split screen KMS streamlining "pending" and "sent" orders, organised by time and section.
I would like the ability to split the KMS screen in two, with new, pending orders to appear in chronological order on the right hand side of the screen and orders ready to be actioned on the left. This will make my chef's spend less time having to search for orders they are currently working on as new ones come in and increase my serving times.
Additionally, I would like to be able to set up multiple KMS screens in different sections of my kitchen so that only those sections receive the dishes/items associated with their section. For example, an order comes in including starts and mains. The starters are sent to the starters section and the remainder of the order is sent to the pass with only the mains dishes. Once a server calls "mains away" for that table, the order is moved from "pending" to "ready".
@Guest Flows are as follows:
Customer orders food & beverages
Customer requests a delay on food so they can have a cocktail
POS/TevX user places starters/starters & mains/mains on hold'
These items then populate the 'pending' KMS View
Once either the timer has elapsed or the items are manually taken off 'hold', these items move from the pending section into the standard KMS view.
*if starters are on the order only the starters move to the standard view any mains remain in the pending section.
**once mains away has been selected on the POS the mains then move from the pending section into the standard KMS view or as above if there are no starters on the order.
This flow is also applicable to orders with Starters, Mains & Desserts or Mains & Desserts.
