Manage Vouchers via CM/BA webapp

Web-Based Voucher Management

We would like to introduce full voucher management capabilities within the CM/BA Web App, rather than restricting these actions to the POS terminals.

Current Limitation

At present, voucher creation and management must be performed directly on the POS. This is inefficient for operational staff, particularly because:

• Voucher values cannot be edited or refilled in the POS.

• To reset recurring vouchers (e.g., weekly staff drinks, DJ barcards), managers must delete the voucher in POS and then re-import a reset CSV through BA > Voucher Importer.

This workflow is time consuming, error prone, and creates unnecessary overhead for routine weekly voucher resets.

Proposed Enhancement

Add a Voucher Management Tool within the CM/BA Web App that allows managers to view and modify voucher details without needing POS access.

Required Web App Functions

Managers should be able to:

• Search and view existing vouchers

• Edit voucher fields, including:

  • Voucher Serial

  • Voucher Value (current remaining balance)

  • Voucher Notes

  • Voucher Expiry Date

• Create or Delete vouchers

Operational Use Case

Vouchers are used to allocate specific spend amounts to staff and contractors (e.g., staff drinks, DJ barcards). These balances need regular resetting. A web based management interface would allow these resets to be done quickly and reliably, without CSV imports or manual POS interaction.
