It would be really useful to have a single, consolidated report that brings together all of the key metrics typically reviewed at the end of each service — removing the need to pull data from multiple places or compile figures manually.
Ideally, this report would include the following metrics in one view:
AM Covers
PM Covers
Overall Covers
Average Spend Per Head
Service Charge
Total Comps & Promotions
Voids
Drinks Sales
Food Sales
Brunch Sales
Total Net Sales
Total Gross Sales
Having everything in one place would save management teams valuable time during close-down, ensure nothing is overlooked, and provide a clear and consistent snapshot of each day's performance at a glance.
Hi Janis,
Thank you for taking the time to submit this idea through our Ideas Portal — and for providing such clear detail around the metrics involved. This kind of specificity is incredibly helpful for our product team!
We really like this one. Having a single, consolidated report that captures all of the key metrics your team routinely pulls together at the end of each service — from covers and average spend per head, through to a full breakdown of sales and any comps, promotions or voids — would be a significant time-saver and reduce the risk of anything being missed during a busy close-down. We can absolutely see the operational value in bringing all of that into one place.
We're pleased to let you know that we'll be moving this idea into future consideration for Insights/Reporting. Whilst we aren't able to confirm a timeline at this stage, it's been noted by our product team as something we'd like to explore as a future enhancement to our reporting suite.
We've also set this idea to public, so other customers can see, review, and vote on it too — if it resonates with them, their votes will help us understand the wider demand and prioritise accordingly.
Whilst you're in the portal, we'd encourage you to take a look at the other ideas our customers have raised — there may be some features already in consideration that would be of interest to you. If anything stands out, please do cast your vote! It really does help us shape what we work on next.
Thank you again for such a detailed and thoughtful submission — we genuinely appreciate it.
Best wishes,
Gabby
